Pen Pal Visit 2003 - Kids looking at cornFrom tours, to plant science, to biotechnology, to food science and technology and misconceptions about agriculture, the workshops offer many opportunities for teachers and students.


Elementary, middle and secondary teachers learn creative ways to use agriculture to meet State Standards.


Pen Pal Visit 2003 Erma McGill with Student and horseHigh school students participate in workshops designed to help them promote agriculture in their community.

Commodity and agricultural organizations support the workshops through scholarships, stipends, educational resources and in-kind contributions.


The workshops have been offered across the state of Nebraska from Scottsbluff to Omaha and cities in between.
