Pen Pal Visit 2003 - Kids looking at cornPreService presentations are conducted at Nebraska universities and colleges for future teachers. They learn new ways to integrate agriculture into their classrooms by utilizing the many resources available through AITC, other organizations and commodity groups.

During the presentations, the future teachers are involved in hands-on activities that incorporate agriculture in the basic subjects - math, science, social studies and reading/writing. They also have an opportunity to create new and innovative resources of their own.




They receive a packet of free resources and contacts within the agriculture industry for additional educational resources.
